Accommodations
Our lodge is located on the property. We have two large bunk rooms, with gas heaters in each, that hold 6 hunters comfortably on single size bunk beds. The guides sleep in separate bedrooms. The living room has a wood burning fireplace and comfortable couches. The bathroom is community style and large enough to keep everyone clean.
Meals are cooked in our well equipped kitchen. If you pay for meals, you will get breakfast pastries, juice or coffee before the hunt. Upon returning from the hunt, the cook will have a full breakfast prepared with traditional items such as eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, biscuits, toast, fruit, milk, juice and coffee. Supper will also be prepared. In the past we have served grilled rib eyes, swordfish and pork chops. We usually have a salad, vegetables, and some sort of roll or bread. This is not run of the mill food. This is excellent food served in ample portions. Non-alcoholic drinks are provided with meals. We do not provide alcoholic beverages. Panola County is a "dry" county and no alcoholic beverages can be obtained here. Feel free to bring your own, but we insist on responsible drinking.
